Our Texas Rural Health Forum is unique; it is an opportunity for rural healthcare professionals to network with their friends, neighbors and business leaders, and persons who work at state agencies, academia and nonprofit organizations.  Together we are a strong network dedicated to improving the lives of rural Texans.

We are particularly interested in workshop/poster presentations that highlight:

Workforce:  Retention and recruitment	Reimbursement
Rural health policy	Public health issues
Community economic development & health	Demographics
Funding	Access
Uninsured	Technology
Wellness & quality of life	Infrastructure

Deadline for submitting the following all documents is 5PM on Monday, February 16, 2009.   You will be notified of your acceptance status via email on/by Friday, February 27, 2009.

Checklist:  Workshop presenters

□        Workshop proposal including objectives 
□        Workshop abstract (200 words or less)

Each workshop presenter:
□        Bio Data Form
□        Disclosure of Relevant Financial Relationships
□        Brief bio for introductions:  Please do not
forward resumes or vitas 

Checklist:  Poster presenters

□        Poster proposal – no need to include objectives
□        Poster abstract (200 words or less)

Please note:  Because the Texas Rural Health Association is a grassroots organization, we are not able to offer complimentary registration to presenters.  Throughout the year we will forward to you conference registration and program details.  We hope that after looking at the education offerings – you will be inspired to register and attend the entire conference.
