General Membership Information

The Texas Rural Health Association advocates for the issues and policies unique to rural hospitals and other providers. As an official member, you’ll gain:

  • A stronger voice on policy matters, including a chance to contribute to the TRHA legislative agenda and participate in Rural Health Day at the State Capitol.
  • Invitations to conferences and meetings where you can network, learn, and help set the policy agenda with others dedicated to improving the health of rural Texans.
  • News updates on late-breaking rural health policy and advocacy issues.
  • Access to information about scholarships, funding opportunities, and networking events with policy leaders in Texas and Washington, DC.

TRHA members include individuals, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, vendors, and other groups who share a common interest in rural health. Led by a volunteer board of directors, TRHA strives to:

  • represent its diverse constituency
  • respond quickly to the challenges and needs of its members
  • provides industry leadership and peer support

Student ($10)
A student member is any individual enrolled in a health profession or related education program.

Individual ($60)
An individual member is any individual who has an interest in rural health in Texas. Individual members are voting members of the corporation.

Group Levels 1 and 2 ($250-$500)
An organization/group member is any corporation, agency, professional society, institution, or other organization that has demonstrated an interest in rural health.Level 1 group members are allowed up to 5 unique members per group. Level 2 group members are allowed up to 10 unique members.

Corporate Members ($1,000)
A corporate member is any individual or entity that provides goods and/or services and wants to advertise to the general membership. Levels for corporate members will be set by the board. Corporate members are non-voting members.

  • Highlight in TRHA newsletter
  • Opportunity to provide one webinar per year
  • Exhibit table at all seminars
