Rural Medicine of America is a documentary created by Shan Patel and funded by the Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals (TORCH). The documentary follows a rural hospital fighting to remain open in Jones County, Texas. In a time when rural hospital closures are at a high, we hope this documentary opens your eyes to the reality of rural healthcare from a different perspective.
