Ensuring Rural Health Remains a Priority

This week, Texas rural hospitals, rural health leaders, and fellow advocates came together in Washington, D.C., to ensure that rural health remains a priority at the federal level. With 19 dedicated leaders and 19 scheduled visits with senators and representatives, we shared the realities facing rural communities and advocated for policies that protect access to care. As budget discussions and policy shifts continue, it’s more important than ever to keep rural on the agenda. We are committed to moving forward, beyond the challenges, and advocating for sustainable healthcare solutions.
A huge thank you to the National Rural Health Association for leading the way and to our Texas partners and rural communities who showed up, coordinated efforts, and made this week a success!
